How to Install Resource Packs
Step 1 — Download the Resource Pack
- Download the
.zipfile (don’t extract it). - Make sure it’s the correct version for your Minecraft.
Step 2 — Open Minecraft
- Launch Minecraft Java Edition
- Go to Options
- Click Resource Packs
Step 3 — Open Resource Pack Folder
Click “Open Pack Folder”
→ This opens the directory: /.minecraft/resourcepacks
Step 4 — Move the Pack
- Drag the downloaded .zip file into the folder.
Step 5 — Activate the Pack
Go back to Minecraft.
The pack will appear on the left side (Available Packs).
Click the arrow to move it to Active Packs.
Press Done to reload.
